[edit] APMastersite
APMastersite 1 is a site that is created for AP students or other students to properly assist their needs with school. The site has a variety of information such as World History, United States History, Biology, Physics, Math and English all specifically created for the needs of Students. APMasterSite is part of the ApFaq organization which is an organization of students who collaborate on information and help other students in school or on the web with certain issues relating to AP classes etc. The homepage of this site is www.apmastersite.com Link to apmastersite.com
APMastersite began as a simple high school project in October, 2004 developed by Sophomores Ebey Soman, Gokul Kalla, and John Ettikkalayil. The project involved building a website based on the beginning parts of World History. The site that was created inspired the group to start their own chain of information distributing sites containing information on certain topics of AP classes. The group started with World History and continued that first site with a whole chain which were mostly school projects. In summer of 2005 the group expanded to 10 members and decided that a name should be given to their organization. In August of 2005, the group was known as ApFaq, based on "AP" for the AP (Advanced Placement) courses and "Faq" "frequently-asked-questions". The parent company J.E.G Inc was developed as well to manage the resources used to broadcast the necessary information for students. On August 15, 2005 the group finalized APMastersite which was based on the "Freewebs" site builder program. Starting from then on Apmastersite included a variety of topics all for the benefit of students. Site popularity has boomed ever since and is currently expanding. Apmastersite is part of the Never Study Forums as well as a chain of sites based on Freewebs members. As of December 2006 Apmastersite has changed its domain and now has acquired a .com domain for the benefit of the students who visit it. Currently ApmasterSite is expanding it self from just a AP site to an entertainment and downloads site as well. APMastersite is currently affiliated with advertising/educational partners such as Never Study Forums, AONServers and DesiSector.
