Seventh Heaven is a 1937 remake of the Janet Gaynor/Frank Borzage silent classic starring Simone Simon and James Stewart in the roles portrayed by Gaynor and Charles Farrell in the original version. Henry King directed this largely forgotten remake, which also featured Gregory Ratoff and Jean Hersholt.
Both film versions were based on the play Seventh Heaven by Austin Strong.
