Seven Easy Pieces is the third release by The Detroit Cobras, released 1 March 2004 (see 2004 in music). Led by singer Rachel Nagy, The Cobras had a distinctive Detroit rock sound as they influenced by Motown, soul music and '50s rock & roll. The Detroit Cobras are a cover band but not one by traditional standards. They take old rarities and B-Sides from obscure, slightly obscure, and, sometimes, well known artists from the fifties and sixties and breath new life into them. This particular album was appended to a pressing of Baby
(2005) by Bloodshot.
