Can someone tell me why exactly cruelty? At worst its a place to have sex in... just not cruelty. I'll change that... LeinaD natipaC 16:32, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

I removed it.. it sounds like somebody editorializing, even if it may have been true robo 21:44, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

"At worst its a place to have sex"? Let's see, the women in the harem were generally slaves as were the attendants who probably did not volunteer to be castrated. Isn't it at least possible there was cruelty involved?
