The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (City of Montreal Police Service; SPVM) is the police force for the City of Montreal. The standard sidearm of the service is the Walther P99.

The force is lead by Director of Police Yvan Delorme.

The SPVM covers an area of 496 square kilometres and 1,800,000 residents of the Greater Montreal area.
There are 49 police stations or quartier and operate within four geographical regions: East, West, North and South.
