The Service A is local public bus service operated by Stagecoach Devon, operating up to every 10 mintues in the city of Exeter.
In the early 2000s, it became the first service in Exeter to have Optare Solo buses, and again in 2006 it became the first Exeter City Service to obtain brand new Alexander Dennis Pointers.

The A timetable has been revised many times, mainly because of the growing amount of traffic around the Cowick Street and Heavitree area. It now operates at a maximum frequency of every 10 minutes. Although on evenings and weekends operate at a maximum frequency of every 20 minutes. (For timetable see External links below)
