Serra San Quirico is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ancona in the Italian region Marche, located about 45 km southwest of Ancona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,028 and an area of 49.1 km2.[1]
The municipality of Serra San Quirico contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Serra San Quirico Stazione, Sasso, Castellaro, and Domo.
Serra San Quirico borders the following municipalities: Apiro, Arcevia, Cupramontana, Fabriano, Genga, Mergo, Poggio San Vicino.
