Serotta

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Serotta is an American bicycle manufacturer located in Saratoga Springs, New York. Named for founder Ben Serotta, the company has been making custom road and competition bicycles since the 1970s.

Serotta is known for the exceptional fit of their bicycles. Serotta offers stock sizes similar to any other manufacturer, but have added the option of a completely custom fit. The buyer selects different tube sizes and profiles to allow for an optimal fit and ride quality in line with individual preference.

Although the bikes were branded as Huffy, Serotta was the manufacturer of the bikes for teams Crest and 7-Eleven during their years on the pro scene. Serotta Huffys are highly prized by classic bike enthusiasts, especially given the seemingly absurd places they have been found -- such as thrift stores for USD $5.
