Serhat Akın (born June 5, 1981 in Karlsruhe, Germany) is a Turkish striker currently playing for 1. FC Köln. He is officially still part of R.S.C. Anderlecht as he is on loan to FC Köln until the end of the 2006-07 season. He played for Fenerbahçe SK from 2000-2005, after which he went to Anderlecht on a free transfer in the summer of 2005. In his first year at Anderlecht, he helped them become champions of the Belgian First Division, especially by scoring the first goal in their 2-0 victory over direct rivals Standard Liège three matchdays from the end.

Mustafa Denizli, the coach of the team at that time, transferred Serhat as a young starlet from Germany. Serhat gained an immediate success in his first year in Turkey. He was playing in the forward position next to Kennet Andersson but after a year, both Kennet and Mustafa Denizli left the club. After that, Serhat worked with different attacking partners and coaches until the summer of 2005(and sometimes played as a right-winger). He won two league titles with Fenerbahçe.
