Sergio Arias (born 27 February 1988) is a Mexican football player who plays the role of goalkeeper. He currently plays for Chivas de Guadalajara's Primera División A team Tapatío, and serves as backup goalie for the squad in the Primera División (Chivas de Guadalajara).

Arias has played in Chivas' youth division teams and he began playing for the Tapatío squad in the 2006 Season. He is yet to make his debut in the Primera División. Arias was the starting goalkeeper of the Mexican national football team that won the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship against Brazil. He had a good tournament playing well by only letting in 3 goals in 6 games. He has been praised by the press as the "new" Oswaldo Sanchez.
