Sergei Valeryevich Ivanov

Sergei Ivanov (born March 5, 1975 in Chelyabinsk, Russia) is a professional road bicycle racer since 1996. He cycles with the T-Mobile Team and has done so since 2004. He has, however, been a professional since 1996 - being a member of three previous teams - CSKA Lada-Samara,TVM-Farm Frites, and Fassa Bortolo. In this time he has completed 2 Tours de France, 1 Giro d'Italia, and 2 Vueltas a España. He now lives in Bekkevoort, Belgium.

His career highlights have included 2 stage wins at the Tour de l'Avenir 1996, becoming Russian Champion in 1998, 1999 and 2000, winner of E3 Prijs Vlaanderen 2000, a stage win in the Tour de Suisse 2001 a stage win in the 2001 Tour de France, winner of the Trofeo Luis Puig 2002, a stage win in the Tour of Holland 2002, and a stage runner-up in the Tour de Suisse 2003.

He took part in the 2004 Tour de France.
