Sergeant Knight

Sergeant Knight is a character in Joseph Heller's classic novel Catch-22.

Sergeant Knight is the turret gunner in Yossarian's plane. He starts a panic before the mission to Bologna when he takes extra flak suits, leading everyone to believe the target is deadly.

Later, he is one of the soldiers who drunkenly fire anti-aircraft guns on Thanksgiving, nearly driving an already stressed Yossarian to a breakdown.
