Seraphim(六翼天使) is a Taiwanese Symphonic/Power metal band formed in the city of Taipei in 2001. Similar to the styles of Nightwish and Therion, They have shown great progress in recent years, and are on the rise in Asia, with fans in Europe and other Places.

Formed in 2001 in the City of Taipei, Taiwan, They recorded their first song "Love Hate" for a demo weeks later. they were noticed by Magnum Music (Taiwan) and had a contract April of the same year, within a month they had recorded their first album "The Soul That Never Dies (不死魂)", it was mastered at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland, and by August it was released.
In between the Album's Release they did a few shows to help promote it, by November they started writing new songs for a second album, by January 2002 they were invited to perform at the Kung-Ming music festival in China. after doing another show they started the recording of their 2nd album titled "The Equal Spirit (平等精靈)", and it was not long after that their first album had a european release through the Independent Arise lable in Spain.
In their hometown of Taipei, they opened for Brazilian Metal band Angra on June 14th, 2002. their second album was Mixed at Studio Fredman, in Sweden, and was released in Taiwan on the 10th of September 2002.
After doing local shows to promote the album Guitarist "Dan Chang" left the band, he was replaced by "Lucas Huang" on December, An English version of The Equal Spirit was released on January 2003, and after a european release they would do more Live shows, & Participated in Taiwan's Midsummer Night Tour later that year. They were Announced for Germany's Dong Open Air festival on January 04 witch was to take place in June, and released the Chinese Edition of Ai (愛) by February.
'Quinn Weng' replaced Vocalist Pay Lee on March 14th, 2004. by that time they were invited to several more festival's for the summer including Savage Metal Fest in Russia, Metal Kingdom in Japan, 'Asian Rock Festival' in Seoul, South Korea, and others around Taiwan & China. on July 2nd they released "Ai" in Europe.
They were now getting more Attention as they would appear in China's Painkiller Magazine, Along with Magazines in Japan & Germany. by June 2005 they had new drummer 'Van Shaw'. they would perform with popular German Power metal band Edguy in Taipei & Hong Kong by March 2006. Quinn Weng was Featured as a guest on Beto Vázquez Infinity's Flying Towards the new Horizon album.
They plan to release their fourth album "Rising (日出東方)" in 2007, It will be the first to feature vocalist 'Quinn Weng'.
