Septic may refer to:

  • a septic infection, cf. sepsis.
  • a British rhyming slang word for US American (derivation: Yankee -> Yank -> Septic Tank -> Septic). Depending on context, the word might be considered an ethnic slur, but is certainly disparaging. The Australian slang equivalent is Seppo. [1]
