Seppa (formerly known as Salpa) is the headquarters of East Kameng district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. It lies on the bank of Kameng River and is located 160km from Itanagar.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Seppa had a population of 14,965. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Seppa has an average literacy rate of 53%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 64%, and female literacy is 41%. In Seppa, 21% of the population is under 6 years of age.
