[edit] FLower revert

Hi. I noticed that you reverted a rather large expansion to the flower article today using popups (see [1]). While the expansion was in much need of wikification, it certainly wasn't vandalism, and reverting it without explanation or an attempt to keep valuable material therein will only serve to drive away new editors. I've only glanced over the 10kb addition, but at least some of it would provide depth the article lacks right now. I don't have time to deal with it at the moment, but thought I'd at least point it out to you as I'm assuming (or hoping) you didn't realize what you were doing. NoahElhardt 05:05, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Ok, noted. I suspect copyvio, please revert as you see it fit. Tks. —Sengkang 06:46, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ocean pest

No one seems to be putting any warning messages in the indian ocean pests talk box - any reason do you think? SatuSuro 01:30, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

I put a warning anyway. SatuSuro 01:40, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. —Sengkang 02:09, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Heheh :) see - Template:TestTemplates - under the second black heading line fifth way down the page ! SatuSuro 08:15, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh Ok, thanks. —Sengkang 08:22, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Its going on so Ive alerted an admin SatuSuro 08:23, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
I've got confused about who is right and who is wrong at Souther Ocean - any idea? SatuSuro 03:58, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
hmm...I can't establish who's "right" or "wrong", since it's essentially about nonmenclature and there will always be bones for contention. —Sengkang 04:06, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh well I'll leave it but if it goes much more it becomes a 3RR war... sigh SatuSuro 04:24, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of Alabama Metropolitan Areas

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article List of Alabama Metropolitan Areas, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] the Universe

I would like to know why you removed my comment about the size of the universe versus its age. I tried to make it sound as factual and neutral as I could. Distance, time, and velocity are related, so it's difficult to say that an object traveled 45 billion lightyears in only at-most 20 billion years. It would have been polite for you to leave a comment as to where I'm wrong in my logic. I'm always open to learning something new, and so I would enjoy having someone show me how the universe could be larger than the speed of light would allow. 71.209.28.76 04:54, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blahneah

Vandalized this page with racist remarks, just giving you a heads up. Carlo V. Sexron 03:22, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Noted, thanks. And thanks to all for the reversion. —Sengkang 03:26, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Islands

Hello my friend! I noticed you created many articles about islands of Singapore. Just informing you that they are badly sorted in the category. All should be sorted by their name (excluding the word pulau). Regards. - Darwinek 11:41, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Yishun junior College article

hi, i know that you have edited the YJc article by cancelling the controversy part that i have typed. Could you please give me a reason why you removed it? I am merely stating the facts and there should be transparency. I dont know whether you are from a rival school, but i suggest you should maintain your neutrality. Otherwise, i will have to bring this issue to a person of equivalent rank as you, being a wikipedia member -17:59, February 8, 2007 Nerdbrain456

Pl cite your sources since you claim they are facts. Thank you. —Sengkang 10:03, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

But then, this facts are said by the principal of my school, and i only knew them this year>?so the only source would be my principal lo.I cant find any such source on the internet man.besides if you think in a logical manner,my facts are true lo. - 11:22, February 9, 2007 Nerdbrain456

Pl note that articles should rely on reliable, third-party published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Sources should be appropriate to the claims made: exceptional claims require stronger sources. What is said by the Principal constitutes his or her Point of View and may be biased. Pl read Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:NPOV for more information. Thank you. —Sengkang 03:36, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] DYK

Updated DYK query On 15 February 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Old Admiralty House, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

[edit] More revert?

Hi. Per your revert at Saturn, the same IP is modifying other planets similarly. Perhaps they all need to be reverted? —Wknight94 (talk) 14:36, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi, pl revert as you see it fit. My hands are tied for the moment. Tks. —Sengkang 14:39, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clarke Whale Museum Interviews and Exhibits

He Sengkang, I sent you an email, but maybe you're busy. I was wondering why you reverted [2] - as you don't seem to have left any explanation. If like with the Flower revert, you are suspecting copyvio, I can assure you that is not the case, as I created the video content being referenced myself. The Clarke Whale Museum on Pico Azores has many useful exhibits on sperm whales and giant squid, and in the interviews (of which there are 5 on the referenced external page) Prof. Malcolm Clarke discusses and shows us around the museum, and talks in depth about the anatomy of sperm whales (which he has studied for about 40 years). The films also include footage of the lifesize sculpture of the largest whale ever caught in the Azores.

Ok. —Sengkang 01:34, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Broken Venus revert

Hello Sengkang, I noticed that your revert using popups of Venus introduced bogus content. See this diff. Do you have any idea how this happened? Seems like a bug in the popup tool. WilliamKF 05:19, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I think there is a bug in the popups tool. —Sengkang 06:22, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] tireless

Your patience in reverting bloodyminded vandals is appreciated, noticed and although I have given up on barnstars - well done, thank you and may you be rewarded in some way for your tireless efforts! SatuSuro 01:00, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. —Sengkang 01:01, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User Category for Discussion

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Kusu island.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Kusu island.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Denniss 13:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Moon article

Hi there. Could you please take a look at this diff? Neilnat's edit summary doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. However, it sounds plausible (at least grammatically), and if it is vandalism it was apparently never caught. I would just add the deleted stuff back in myself, but I don't know how. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. ≈≈Carolfrog≈≈♦тос♦ 01:53, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
