Sense and Sensibilia (Aristotle)

Sense and Sensibilia (or On Sense and the Sensible, On sense and what is sensed, On sense perception, or De Sensu et Sensibilibus) is a text by Aristotle, written about 350 B.C.E.

The phrase was alluded to by Jane Austen in her novel Sense and Sensibility.

A book of the same title was also written by Averroes, as a commentary on the original text (in Arabic, "al-'Aql wa 'l-ma'qul").

Thomas Aquinas also wrote a commentary on the text.
