The Senedd (Welsh for Parliament or Senate) is the home of the National Assembly for Wales. It is situated in Cardiff Bay, Cardiff, Wales. The building was designed by architect Richard Rogers, it was built at a cost of £67 million and was officially opened on March 1, 2006 (St. David's Day) by the Queen.[1]

The building is distinctive in its wood and glass design and houses the debating chamber and committee rooms for the NAW.
