Senbee (魔神千兵衛 Majin Senbei) is the miniature genie and the self-proclaimed god of disaster and poverty in the anime/manga series Oh My Goddess!.

This genie lives by the philosophy of happiness being finite in the universe. Because of this belief, he places all sorts of misfortunes on others to raise his own happiness, often doing so by magically causing bad luck or accidents. He usually serves as a minion of Marller (more so in the manga than in the anime). Instead of coming from a lamp like most genies, Senbee is instead summoned by popping open his Ramune bottle. His famous quote is "Shakkin!"

He is voiced by Norio Wakamoto.

[edit] Trivia

  • Senbee's famous quote is "Shakkin," chanted every time he starts targeting his victim. What's funny, he even sneezes "Shakkin" as in Episode 18 of the second TV season. Incidentally, "Shakkin" translates to "debt" from Japanese.
