Seminole Community College

Seminole Community College (SCC) is a community college with campuses located in Sanford, Florida, Apopka, Florida (Hunt Club) and Oviedo, Florida in the United States offering two-year college credit degrees (A.A., A.S.); specialized career certificates; continuing professional education; customized workplace training; adult education; community, leisure and youth programs; and an array of culturally stimulating events including theatre, musical performances, planetarium shows and guest speakers.

SCC's programs range from college credit transfer degrees and career certificates to training for information technology and health professions to business management and construction trades. For the 2005/2006 period there were 29,522 students enrolled at SCC which is ranked as the fastest growing community college in Florida.

A new auto mechanics building (Sanford) and a third campus (Altamonte Springs) are under construction at the present. A new "Center for Economic Development" is also under construction in Heathrow, Florida.
