Semenyih Dam
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Semenyih Dam is one of the Klang Valley major dams in Malaysia. Built in 1985, the dam, with the lovely lake surrounded by green forested hills, provides one of the most breathtaking sights in the country. It also supplies a major portion of drinking water to the Klang Valley population. Semenyih Dam also has become popular with angling enthusiasts, especially on weekends.
On a clear day, visitors can see the reflection of the lovely hills and sunset in the still waters of the dam. Towards evening, the cool breeze creates delightful ripples on the water surface.
