[edit] Kevin Pietersen
Thanks for adding the picci of Kevin Pietersen. Could I ask you to supply the copyright details on Image:Kevin pietersen in Zimbabwe.jpg? At the moment it's not clear that we can use the pic. Kind regards, jguk 16:26, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
- Just because you can't see any copyright notices unfortunately doesn't mean there is no copyright. Maybe you could email his site to see if it is in the public domain, or alternatively whether they can release one into the public domain. Also, it would be useful if you could add a link to his site on the Kevin Pietersen page - I don't think I've ever seen it, jguk 16:50, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
Thanks. I know it's a pain in the neck with cricket photos, but hopefully they'll see a benefit of letting us have one officially, jguk 17:27, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
- I assume they wouldn't give you permission, so I've now added it to Wikipedia:Copyright problems#August 22. Stephen Turner 18:09, 22 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Red xIII seto.jpg
Thanks for adding the Red XIII with Seto image, it's been nearly two months since you uploaded it, and I was wondering what is the copyright status of this image. You forgot to put one. Is it a screenshot of a full motion video from Final Fantasy VII or from some other source? I can't remember this video in Final Fantasy VII but it seems like a FMV. If it is indeed a screenshot from the game, please add the {{game-screenshot}}, or the proper copyright notice if it is from some other source. – DarkEvil 19:48, August 7, 2005 (UTC)
- re: I've found it, it's on the screen where it's said to change disks, a random render always appear with the change disk notice and it's one of them, so that would qualify it as a game screenshot. It was the kind of graphic that's hard to remember where it came from and someone might never see it. – DarkEvil 15:06, August 8, 2005 (UTC)
