Selsluse

A highway device primarily designed for aiding the transport of seals between the islands and mainland of the southern coast of Norway. The Selsluse is intended to be anchored to the island of Hidra and to the lighthouse of Lista, effectively blocking an attractive seaway for transportships. The building process is still in its first stages and is not expected to be completed before the necessary funding is found.
