Clerks: Sell Out
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Clerks: Sell Out is an animated film that continues the adventures of Dante (voiced by Brian O'Halloran) and Randal (voiced by Jeff Anderson) and their lives working at the Quick Stop convenience store. It follows the events of Clerks: The Animated Series but its connections to the live-action films are tenuous at best.[citation needed]
On August 8, 2006, in a Q&A session in Red Bank, New Jersey, USA, Kevin Smith confirmed the movie would be made in 2007, most likely direct to DVD, right after he sits down and writes a script. In 2003, Powerhouse Animation Studios did a Flash animation test to see whether the technology could be applied to Clerks: Sell Out.
