[edit] translation complete

I performed the translation entirely from fr:Seille (rivière). This river is in Lorraine. Please do NOT confuse this river with the other river in France called the Seille, in Saône. I plan on translating fr:Seille (Saône) as well, and putting it under the same name here in EN. That will, however, have to wait.

I'm not sure about a couple of my phrases... "bassin de crue" became "flood basin", and a couple more. They are all marked with <!-- ... ---> tags in the article's source. Also, sometimes the text was slightly rearranged, such as the eutrophication statement in the flora and fauna section. Enjoy the article! --Storkk 15:31, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Nice article. I changed it to "flooding of adjacent lowlying areas" on the suggestion of a hydrologist. Craig Baker 18:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] pronunciation note

I think that there should be a pronunciation note, as most English speakers will intuitively mispronounce it. Unfortunately, I'm extremely rusty with my IPA. It should be (very roughly) pronounced similar to the English word "say" except that the 'y' is more evident in Seille -- in other words, there's a very slight schwa at the end of the word. If anyone could help with that, it would be appreciated. --Storkk 19:32, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks to User:62.39.49.102 who recently added the pronunciation --Storkk 13:33, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Salt Water

The page has a reference to Salt water which is a disambiguous page. I am unsure what it should link through to properly - perhaps someone with expert knowledge could update it? Pixie2000 20:28, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
