Miss Pakistan World 2006
Sehr Mahmood was crowned Miss Pakistan World 2006 on April 1, 2006 in Toronto, Canada. She is a graduate of Economics. During her regin, Sehr has traveled to the States as well as made special appearances in Toronto, Canada. Mahmood was the first Pakistani model to be called to the Bollywood awards in New York City, Haroon (Pakistani artist) shows and community events.
Sehr is also schedule for a few international pageants like Queen of the World in December 2006. She is currently preparing for the Miss Earth 2006 pageant to be held in Manila, Philippines. This is a very exciting moment for the Miss Pakistan World organizers as this is the third largest pageant in the world.
Sehr Mahmood will be covering two international pageants for representing Pakistan and bringing Pakistan on the face of beauty pageants worldwide. Sehr is now pursuing her MBA in business. She has also completed a music video and has a few more projects lined up in both USA and Canada.
Sehr Mahmood, is the current winner of Miss Pakistan World, and is representing Pakistan in the world’s third largest beauty pageant, Miss Earth 2006. Sehr has had a busy year planned for her from attending fashion shows, modeling, music videos and finally participating in Miss Earth 2006. Sehr will be attending one more international beauty pageant, and uplifting the pageant industry of Pakistan which started in 2002.

[edit] Pakistan's Pageant Industry
Sonia Ahmed, president of Miss Pakistan World says, This is the second year we are with Miss Earth, and we are very proud of being a part of this. Pakistan has to date taken part in 7 international beauty pageants and has won 4 international titles out of those 7 so far. The results for Miss Earth are not out yet, but we are hoping and praying … It’s a tough pageant and our background in pageantry is growing tremendously. We have made history with Pakistan’s 1st Miss Bikini, Pakistan’s youngest Miss Pakistan- Sonya Zia and now Sehr Mahmood going to Miss Earth. Pakistani women are the most beautiful in the world, but since Pakistan is not discovered yet; more emphasis is laid on this issue. But in the coming years we will prove it to everyone. Pakistan is a country of rich diversity in looks, and in the coming years, the world will know.

Miss Earth labelled as the third largest beauty pageant in the world, right after Miss Universe and Miss World, was represented by Sehr Mahmood the winner and reigning queen of Miss Pakistan World. Sehr won the Miss Pakistan World 2006 pageant and was sent to Miss Earth 2006 to represent Pakistan on a majore international level. MISS EARTH pageant's main raison d’etre was to have its candidates and winners actively promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment and the protection of Mother Earth. Sehr Mahmood, had to study the environmental factors affecting Pakistan and come up with a small project aimed at bringing down the pollution levels in Pakistan and present it to the panel of judges.

After Miss Earth 2006, Sehr Mahmood participated in Queen of the World 2006 that took place in Germany in December. The winner of the Miss Pakistan World 2006 was entitled Queen of Elegance 2006 award. This was the third international title won by her this year and fifth international since 2003.
Sehr Mahmood won the Queen of the Elegance title in the Queen of the World pageant held in Germany in December 2006. This was the third international title achieved by the Miss Pakistan World/Miss Canada Pakistan Inc. pageant in the year 2006.
