Sefton Novices' Hurdle

The Sefton Novices' Hurdle is a Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race in the United Kingdom for four-year-old and above novices run over a distance of 3 miles 110 yards (4,929 metres) at Aintree Racecourse during the Grand National meeting in early April. There are thirteen hurdles to be jumped in the race.
It was first run in 1988, and has become the most prestigious three-mile novice hurdle race of the season.
