[edit] Shouldnt Operation Angel Down be shorter?

The details of the entire episode are included. Isn't that a little redundant?

Well, this summary actually covers 2 episodes (or so) and several points detailed may have impact in future episodes (GSD is not finished yet), maybe when the series ends we can trim it down. - ylchow 06:08, 24 Jun 2005 (GMT+8)

[edit] No more synopsis, please

I don't know how the majority sees this page. So I will just put my two cents here.

I think this page (and her sister page Bloody Valentine War as well) should be an accurate chronology of the war. It should be narrated from a neutral point of view, something of a historical narration. As such, it should contain:

  • an introduction to the war
  • a chronology of events, main battles, alliances, turning-points
  • the outcome of the war
  • eventual treaties (if any).

For every event there should be the date and the place. For the battles, there should be info about the battle itself, such as deployed units, rules of engagement and the outcome. Obviously, the outcome if the war is not known yet, as the series is still running.

This page, on the other hand, SHOULD NOT contain any of the following:

  • any reference to single episodes; this is a chronology of the war, not a synopsis eps by eps
  • any information about the single characters, where not directly pertinent to the war as a whole; there shouldn't be an entire chapter for Athrun's defection; of course it can be mentioned, but as defections in SEED are quite common, this is not a historical event
  • any character's personal life events; these should go either on the Cosmic Era list of characters page or on the appropriate character's own page; these are not historical events
  • single dogfights between various gundams; these should be mentioned only when relevant to the entire battle (which is often the case), but shouldn't be described in too much of a detail (such as listing every move); if some dogfight is particularly unique, it should be put on the page of the defeated unit, under the fate subsection, not here
  • technical explanations of any kind; there are plenty of pages describing any possible ship, mobile suit unit, weapon and technology.

Please feel free to add your point of view, so we can all put toghether a set of basic rules and compose a nicer page.

Thanks to all. --IgorTrieste 12:22, 14 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Criticism of ZAFT anti-LOGOS campaign. No protagonist

The Three Ships Alliance opposes the ZAFT campaign against LOGOS. Does the TSA want to protect LOGOS? I feel that all combatants of the war are the villains and there's no protagonist. -- Ed Telerionus 01:08, 21 July 2005 (UTC)

And this relates to the content of the wiki how ? Take it to the fan sites FearTheReaper 12:26, 18 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Last of the Blue Cosmos?

Are we absolutely sure that Djibril is the last member of Blue Cosmos? It seems hardly possibly that every known member of Blue Cosmos has been killed or relinquished their position in the wake of Logos' destruction. Is this information from the show or just a guess?

It deals with the accuracy of the information presented in the timeline. The writer states that Djibril is the last member of Blue Cosmos. Is this speculation or an actual stated fact in the series? If it hasn't been stated then it should be removed. -- ???

[edit] Events of Final Plus

Should the events related to the revised ending (excluding actions of individual participants) be relayed here as well? While the end result is still the same, the revised ending provides closure to the series.

[edit] Final battle

I'm curious, where did these 72 Dagger L's pop up in the final battle between Lacus and ZAFT? I know a few Alliance MA's joined at the last minute but Dagger L's?

So what, the Dagger could be abouard those alliance ships. Or it could also be that they joind the battle later on but it really doesn't matter.
