[edit] History
The differences between Cibernetico and the members of La Secta Cibernetica started with comments made by him in a radio show. When the members of La Secta heard the critisism, a group consisting of Espiritu, Scoria, Cuervo and Ozz they elected Ricky Banderas as their new leader and refered to him as El mesias de la Lucha Libre (The wrestling messiah). At a AAA event that took place in Monterey, Mexico the group turned on Cibernetico and with Konnan's help assaulted him leaving him bloodied, thus leaving clear that Banderas was their new leader.
[edit] Chessman
Ricky Banderas approached Chessman a former member of La Secta Cibernetica and tried to convince him to join his new movement. However friction arised when Chessman refused to betray Cibernetico thus ignoring Banderas' aproaches, an infuriated Banderas quoted a phrase made famous by Savio Vega, A mi manera o pa la calle thus leading Chessman to issue a challenge. Banderas proceded to accept Chessman's challenge claiming No voy a tener piedad. A match took place in wich Chessman had Charlie Manson at ringside while Banderas had the entire Secta at ringside. The match ended when Scoria passed a set of brass knucles to Banderas and he proceded to hit Chessman in the side of his ear with it, thus giving Banderas the chances to score a pinfall. Following the match a group of doctors were attending Chessman when La Secta's members assaulted him with chairs and tables, leaving him (kayfabe) gravely injured.
