Secret Samadhi (1997) |
The Distance to Here (1999) |
Secret Samadhi is Live's follow-up to their multi-platinum Throwing Copper release. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released on February 18, 1997, and housed the hits "Lakini's Juice," "Turn My Head" and "Freaks."
Although it went double platinum, Secret Samadhi has continued to be perceived by some as a heavy and over-ambitious album with dark shading that didn't wear as well with fans as Throwing Copper had, resulting in a dramatic fall-off in commercial appeal for Live.
