[edit] Voice-Over Introduction

[edit] Part One

News Anchor Dwight: Welcome back to coninuing coverage of our top story. Here's a recap of the events of the last eight hours. As seen here in our exclusive footage caught on home video, a blinding flash lit up downtown and surrounding areas, apparently projected into space. The origin of the flash was the TCRI building, where senior correspondent Alex Carlin is standing by.

News Anchor Alex Carlin: Yes Dwight, the scene here is tense in front of the still silent TCRI building...what the?! It's happening again, what in the name of?! Is this the vanguard of some alien invasion?! Or is this...the end of life as we know it?

[edit] Part Two

Donatello: I have to tell you, science-wise, this has been the most exciting time in my young, techno-geek mutant life. I mean, we were transmaterialized across the galaxy to a whole other civilization and then back home to planet Earth again, all thanks to this alien race called the Utroms, who also saved the life of master Splinter. On top of that, I got to experience the most amazingly advanced virtual reality system ever: The Utrom's Oracle Pod. This incredible device lets us experience the history of the Utroms firsthand. We watched how the Utroms were transporting a dangerous prisoner, when they crashed on Earth. Marooned, they've been hiding among us for centuries, waiting for our technology to advance, so they can build a way home. We even observed the Shredder's ancestor. Then, the most remarkable thing happened: our weapons disappeared and we became part of the action. It was amazing. Well, it would be amazing if it didn't promise to be so deadly.

[edit] Part Three

Splinter: A wise man once said, "The more one learns, the less one knows". My sons and I have learned many things of late. Much of what we learned, we experience through a remarkable window to the past. A history of an alien race, known as the Utroms. In a virtual reality, we witnessed as the Utroms transported their most dangerous criminal back to their home world to stand trial, only to crash land here on Earth, several hundred years. And in that past, we encoutered one who resembled Shredder. Perhaps an ancestor or merely a phantasm. But even a phantasm can be defeated. My sons and I escaped that dangerous illusion only to return to a reality that promised to be more deadly.

[edit] Plot Synopsis

[edit] Part ONE:

The Turtles, Fugitoid, Triceraton and Federation troops are transported back to the TCRI building where a massive fight breaks out. The small pink aliens from The Search for Splinter, are able to put the troops in stasis and sent them back to where the came from. The Turtles wanted to get back to what they started when Splinter came out of the shadows, fully healed. He explains that the aliens are known as Utroms who saved his life. The ooze that made them what they are, was a by-product to power their universal tranporter they call a transmat. Though it seemed the Turtles were gone for weeks on the other side of the galaxy, they were really gone for eight hours. Mortu, the CEO of TCRI, also revealed himself to be an Utrom and lead them to the Oracle pod, a chamber which would tell the Turtles the history and memories of the Utroms. Linked up, they learn that a long time ago, the Utroms were transporting a dangerous Utrom criminal back to their homeworld to stand trial and Mortu was the captain. However, the prisoner escaped and sabotage the ship, causing it to crashland on Earth. There, the Utroms discovered they were in 11-th century feudal Japan. With their ship damaged beyond repair and the planet's lack of technology, there seemed to be no way to get home. Mortu was confident that one day, Earth will have the technology they need but they had to wait.

Back in reality, the military was trying to get into TCRI to investigate the light that came from it. On a truck's underside, a robotic spider came out and climbed the building's wall and inside it, is the head of Baxter Stockman, who infiltrates the complex through the holographic window.

Meanwhile, the Turtles and Splinter were saw how the Utroms crafted their own exo-suit to blend in with the humans. However, the tester was ambushed by the escapee, who took the suit an left. As the years went by, the Utroms built and impressive society. Suddenly, they are attack by what appears to be the Foot Clan and the Shredder's ancestor. All of a sudden, the Turtles and Splinter become part of the illusion, no doubt the work of Stockman.

[edit] Quotes

  • Michaelangelo: "Get it off, or there's gonna be a tiny little Shredder alien busting out of Raph's chest. (Somebody hit him in the forehead.) Oww.
  • Raphael: (To Utrom prisoner) "Big talk, little slimeball."
  • Virtual Mortu: (Also to prisoner) "Big talk, little slimeball."
  • Raphael: "Hey, I like the way this Mortu guy thinks."

[edit] Miscellanea

  • Part of these episodes comes from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #7 of the original series.
  • Baxter Stockman is revealed to have survived the events of Return to New York, Part 3. His head is the only thing left organic of him now, as his head is attached to a small spider-like robot.
  • The episode has two references to the old 1987 TMNT series. April O'Neil dresses up in a yellow jumpsuit and poses as a TV reporter for Channel Six, and Krang, makes a cameo as an Utrom complaining about how he hates walking on his tentacles.
  • Leatherhead makes a shadowed cameo escaping from the TCRI building during the raid.
  • Hamato Yoshi is revealed to have been a Utrom Guardian, who protected the Utroms against The Shredder
  • Shredder is revealed to be the evil Utrom from "Secret Origins, Part 1".
  • donatello accidentally addresses leonardo as NEO after leo uses the sword of tengu. this is an obvious reference to the matrix films.
