The Second City's Next Comedy Legend is a show currently being produced on Canada's CBC. It combines elements of American Idol and Spinal Tap. Contestants will improvise and create characters for their chance to win a spot on the Second City's Toronto Mainstage.[1]
Judges will be Joe Flaherty, Mick Napier, Dave Thomas and Elvira Kurt and hosted by Trish Stratus. Current Second City performers will act as mentors. The show is being produced by Andrew Alexander. [2]
Auditions for the show will take place March 20th in Vancouver, March 24th in Calgary, March 27th in Halifax and April 4th in Toronto.
