Thnx, the original is here. Hopefully it gets newbies everywhere they need to be. :) Joe I 01:25, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Grammatical mistakes

Not to overly criticize, but there seem to be a few grammatical mistakes in the text of this welcome message, particularly comma splices. In an article in the main namespace I would normally just fix them myself, but in this case it is a subpage of a user page, so I am reluctant to edit it directly. What should I do in this case? --Drake Wilson 22:44, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

I see you've approved on my talk page. I tried to clean it up a bit so that it was syntactically and semantically clearer while preserving the original style; revert or otherwise twiddle any parts that you don't like, of course. Hope this helps.  :-) --Drake Wilson 04:39, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edits redirected

I also belated noted that when clicking on an edit link right above this entry on a user's talk page, it takes me to this template, rather than the edit page for that user. I see from the history that I am not the only one who has made that mistake. Should you find some way to protect this template? Busjack 17:28, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Added a warning in a noinclude comment at the top so that people are less likely to edit the page by accident. I assume that's what you mean by "protect" in this context… --Drake Wilson 04:46, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
