Hi Sean

A little lost with your instructions in my sig shop talk. Can you please add more details? I don't see "come on" in your current sig, but "mind a chat" instead. Also, your sig looks really nice as it is. Although it would be kinda hard, I'll try to find some inspiration to improve it until you respond... (I copied this response there too, let's keep the conversation in my place.) :NikoSilver: 15:27, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

I did something. Visit the shop again please. I need feedback. :NikoSilver: 21:49, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

To help you with your welcoming of new Esperanza members...

... TangoTango has kindly written up a script that once a week lists all of the new members to Esperanza. The list can be found at User:Tangotango/New members of Esperanza; it is updated once a week, and will show all of the new members since the last update. If you're not sure if everyone who joined the past week has been welcomed, that is a great place to check! I hope that helps you in your welcome, and thank you for making a point to greet new Esperanzians! -- Natalya 18:41, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Signature

Thanks for the offer, but I like my signature just the way it is right now. =) Besides I got one complaint from the signature we were previously working on, and so I had to change the colors around (to make it lighter, so people wouldn't complain). Nishkid64 20:02, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: Hello

Hi!

I'd love to be adopted! Thanks a lot... umm right now I'm just working on school articles from my area and counter-vandalism for the articles on my watchlist (It's getting big!). If there's any tips that you can give me (because I've only started editing wikipedia in September) that would be so greatly appreciated! -- --lovelaughterlife♥ (user|talk) 22:32, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

User Adoption

Hi, thanks for adopting me. I've been participating in counter-vandalism efforts mostly so far and I would like help learning how to contribute new content to Wikipedia. I think I have a pretty good idea of how things work but I don't really know how to find new information and contribute it to articles correctly. Nice to meet you. Dylan Lake 05:46, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

For help on a cool signature, visit my signature shop. •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 06:41, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi sorry, just finishing up some homework, done now. I guess I could use a fancier signature... Dylan Lake 06:58, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
I like it! So as I said I'd like to start making more meaningful contributions, how do I do that? Dylan Lake 07:30, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
When you start doing that, you have to:
  1. Do research. Important! Do not copy text from other websites and paste it to Wikipedia!
  2. Jot down notes on a piece of paper (real life paper or brain paper)
  3. Once done with the notes, rearrange it a a style which is not the same as the website you got the information from.
That's how. •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 07:33, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Hm yeah that's basically what I thought I had to do but I've been a little nervous to. There are a lot of Economics stubs and I hink I want I'll try to expand some of those. Keep an eye on me, I'll ask if I have a burning question, but I think I have a pretty good understanding of how most of the stuff here works, just have to put my knowledge to good use now. :) Dylan Lake 07:38, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

We should know each other more. •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 07:42, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Okay, hum I'm a freshman in college, I like to read. My favourite subject is economics. Um I almost always use British English spelling because I always have, so it's just easier. Any questions? Dylan Lake 07:47, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm 8 years old and I prefer American English. I dream to be a bureaucrat one day. •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 07:58, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
You mean a bureaucrat on Wikipedia? or in real life... Dylan Lake 08:07, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
In Wikipedia. •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 08:34, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Well thanks for helping with my signature, it's nice to meet you, I'm going to bed now, I'll "see" you around. Dylan Lake 08:45, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

I think I'm going to pass on joining your PLEASE group because I do want to contribute to Wikipedia. Dylan Lake 22:12, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't think you can help me because you don't have very much experience editing articles. It looks like you've mostly been using Wikipedia to socialise. Sorry. Dylan Lake 21:48, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: Bureaucratship

Why aren't you requesting for bureaucratship when you have over ten thousand edits? •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 09:57, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

A combination of lack of interest and, as a look at my current low level of contributions can show, lack of time. --cesarb 23:40, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
I checked your edit count, it doesn't seem very low. •Sean•gorter•(T) (P) 01:29, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
I believe he meant to contributions rate, such as number of contributions made in one day. Michaelas10 (T|C) 20:30, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Sean. My userpage was vandalized and I understand if you took it for a sandbox. :D Anyway, I just realized that the raw signature link was checked on my preference (Thus making the signature unlinked) I'd be very happy if you'd make a sig for me. I love yours. Feureau 10:32, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
