I believe the character in Master and Commander was once in charge of the Fencibles. Might be a good idea to put it in under "fictional characters", or something.

Indeed so; he was assigned as a commander of them in between The Mauritius Command and Desolation Island. Since it's only mentioned in passing, though, it can be assumed that nothing of importance happened. 86.11.124.189 07:47, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
