One thing I note from the show is that the belief that one has all the answers abounds, and when things go wrong, arrogance gets the brunt of the blame.
When Bridger's hologram repeats a set of coordinates over and over, Bridger has Lucas take a look at it and Lucas goes "the repeat key is down" as if that explains everything and wasn't something that Bridger would have noticed.
A psychic phenomenon that suppresses inhibitions and somehow plays a role in people experiencing and acting out on what one might call their "darker side" is immediately labeled "evil". Having no experience with this sort of phenomenon before, while the person who accidentally created it plays a role, they act as if they know exactly what is happening and what to do about it.
Also, a lot of people's lifestyle choices are cast as unequivocally "bad".
In the Scarab technology episode, Lucas gives an explanation that doen't give a clear difference between invisible and black. He says light is in a loop. If you don't receive light from an area, it is black, not invisible. For invisibility to work, one has to guide light around oneself and have it come back out on the other side exactly where it would have if that person wasn't there.Hackwrench 19:48, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Bob Ballard
Bob Ballard cited as the reason for expansion of territorial waters the importance of sea resources, but the fact that the sea serves as a buffer zone for which to react to attacks was ignored. Hackwrench 19:56, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Stinger
Stinger is not a sexist name and the lady was sexist for saying it was so. Also, the theft and distruction of the vehicle should be a reasonable explanation for non-performance, and ideally the timeframe should be adjusted to account for the goings on. At the very least, an investigation should have been undertook before the race concerning potential unjust enrichment from any examinations of the prototype. Hackwrench 20:04, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- But you gotta admit Katie looked darn cute trying to get it called a gazelle. Watching these episodes on DVD again I remember why I stopped watching the show when Stacy Haiduk (and Stephanie Beacham) left. Nothing against those who came later, but the show lost a lot of its appeal IMO. 23skidoo 05:11, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The last season
Forget for a moment how any of them wound up inside buildings, how did what's her name wind up under sheets? And what was the shower doing on? Hackwrench 20:18, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Lucas steals a sub... Hello? What about encrypted code keys?
[edit] Macro/Micro

[edit] Dyslexic
Captain Hudson hands Piccolo a pair of pink glasses for dyslexia. People have to be tested for the proper colors- see Irlen lenses, Helen Irlen, not yet wikipedia articles for more details. Hackwrench 22:29, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

Also, Lucas's problems with the bartender? What's up with that? That bartender must not get out much. Hackwrench 22:29, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
