Shooting across the wave crests like a gleaming bullet, Seaspray (Elica in Italy) performs his job with a zest unmatched by any of his fellow Autobots. This is because for him the Earth is an even more unique experience than for his comrades. His domain, the vast ocean, has no counterpart on his native Cybertron and he absolutely loves it. He loves the galaxy of creatures that inhabit its depths and the freedom of movement its near-limitless expanse allows. He is saddened whenever it is necessary to revert back to his robot form on land. He also loves the thrill of naval battle, despite knowing that a single hit by enemy fire could send him to the bottom of the sea forever. It is a risk Seaspray finds as invigorating as the ocean air.

As a hovercraft, Seaspray is capable of speeds up to 120 knots and has a 4000-mile range. He's equipped with various sonar and radar devices as well as underwater and surface-to-air laser cannons. He also has wheels that enable him to travel for short distances on land. In robot mode, he also has use of his laser cannons, which he can shoot through his hands. On land, Seaspray is more of a liability than an asset.

Primary Weapon: Laser Cannons

[edit] Marvel Comics

Beachcomber, Blaster, Cosmos, Perceptor, Powerglide, Seaspray and Warpath were part of an Autobot team on Cybertron in the Earth year 1986. They battled the Decepticons led by Straxus over the Space Bridge and the Autobots were stranded on Earth (Transformers #18).

They were then captured by Circuit Breaker and her Rapid Anti-Robot Attack Team, taken to her lab and then disceted (Transformers #21-22).

Circuit Breaker leads a giant Autobot she created from parts of other Autobots against the Decepticon Battlechargers in Marvel's Transformers comics.

Circuit Breaker then captured Autobots Air Raid, Fireflight, Silverbolt, Skids,Skydive and Slingshot. Using the parts from all the captured Autobots she created a giant Autobot with herself in control, striking a deal with them that if they would co-operate she would let them go. Circuit Breaker then used them to oppose the Decepticon Battlechargers Runabout and Runamuck who were attacking the Statue of Liberty. After defeating the Decepticons with Circuit Breaker the Autobots were released (Transformers #23).
