Sean Healy is an Australian writer and event organizer originally from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia where he was a founder of the arts and media collective Octapod and the electrofringe digital media festival. He is now based in Melbourne. He is a widely published writer under the pseudonym Jean Poole - a name under which he is also produces work as a VJ.

Sean Healy shares his name with a prominent member of the Resistance socialist youth organization with whom he is occasionally confused.
