Sean Gilder

Sean Gilder (b.1964 in Brampton, Yorkshire) is an English actor most famous for playing hard-nut thief and druglord Patrick 'Paddy' Maguire in TV show Shameless. He has had a number of other roles including the Lord of the Sycorax in Doctor Who and has appeared in New Tricks and Gangs of New York. Sean was educated at University of London where he received a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Third World Studies, he undertook his theatre training in Webber Douglas Academy. Sean can also speak fluent Spanish as well as English.
