Sean Dillon (born July 30, 1983, Dublin is an Irish professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League.
[edit] Career
Sean was previously with Shelbourne and helped them to their thirteenth league championship win in 2006. He also scored the only goal of the game during the season in Shels Intertoto Cup win in Lithuania over FK Vėtra. He has represented the Republic of Ireland U21 team on 4 occasions. In January 2007, it was reported that Dillon signed for Dundee United for an undisclosed fee; however, it appeared that Shelbourne had jumped the gun, as United manager Craig Levein denied that the club had entered into discussions with the player or his agent. Dillon completed the transfer on 10 January 2007.
