Sean Cleary signed for Cliftonville F.C. from Ards F.C. in July 2005. Cleary lives close to Cliftonville F.C.'s ground Solitude. Cleary started his Reds career well, winning the Player of the Month award in September 2005. Although 'Mit Mit', as he is known to fans, has been injured for most of this season, he has still managed to find the net 3 times for the Reds.
