Seaford High School (often abbreviated SHS and sometimes referred to as Seaford Senior High School) is a public high school in Seaford, a community in Sussex County, Delaware.

[edit] Mission statement
The mission of Seaford High School is to provide high quality instruction in a safe, caring environment that focuses on the life skills and academic needs of our students. Our mission includes the goal of instilling a strong sense of personal and community responsibility. Therefore, the SHS mission statement is grounded in the district's which is to provide a personally-oriented educational experience, enabling each student to become a contributing member of society.[1]

For the graduating class of 2004 (the most recent class for which information is available), students taking the SAT scored an average of 480 in math and 469 in verbal for a combined score of 949.[2] This is compared with averages of 486+484=970 throughout the state and 513+503=1016 nationally.[3]
