[edit] Airspeed Courier
I noticed you have recently created Airspeed AS 5 Courier, I presume you did not know that an article already exists at Airspeed Courier. MilborneOne 21:15, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have merged the details from Airspeed AS 5 Courier into the other article Airspeed Courier, I think I have moved everything not duplicated. Apologies if I have missed something. MilborneOne 22:10, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] DYK nom on Percival Petrel
Hello,
Thanks for creating article on Percival Petrel. Just for your information, I have nominated a DYK on this article, by having the following hook.
- ...that the Percival Petrel, a twin-engine, low-wing monoplane with a tailwheel undercarriage, was used as British communications aircraft in World War II?
Thanks, - KNM Talk 17:30, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to the Aviation WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to aviation.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPAVIATION Announcements}} there.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, and project-wide collaboration.
- We have a number of child projects and task forces that focus on specific topics and aircraft types.
- We're developing a variety of guidelines for article structure and content, template use, categorization, and other issues that you may find useful.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the experienced project members, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 21:56, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fairey Fireflies
Good job on the Fairey Firefly I/II articles. One note: you need to place disambiguation (DAB) headers at the top of each of these pages to the Fairey Firefly of WWII and beyond, just in case someone gets lost. If you're not sure how to do this, let me know, and I'll give you some help. - BillCJ 16:05, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] edit conflicts
When there are edit conflicts, the alert page features two boxes of text, and i believe the bottom one would be your copy. There is also the 'inuse' template, among others. Cantras 19:41, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
