Screeb
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Screeb (Irish: An ScrÃob) is a small village in south-west Connemara, County Galway, Ireland. It is near Casla, south of Oughterard.
Its major claim to fame is that it has one of Ireland's few peat-burning power stations. The economics of the station have always been doubtful. It has more value as a source of employment in this poor area.
