Scratch (musician)

Scratch (born Kyle Jones) is an American rapper. He is a hip hop MC who specializes in beatboxing or vocal percussion. He is probably best known as a member of Grammy Award-winning band The Roots.
Originally in Philly based rap group,Schoolz Of Thought he joined The Roots in 1998 performing with the all over the world.
Scratch released his album The Embodiment of Instrumentation in 2002 on the Rope A Dope record label, which featured The Roots,Dice Raw,E.S.T of Three Times Dope,Cyph Born of Aphillyation,Bilal (musician), Jill Scott,Malik B and M.A.R.S. Co-Op.
After the release of his solo LP he abruptly left in 2003. Now solo he continues to tour the world. His new upcoming album entitled "Loss 4 Wordz features artists Kanye West, Musiq, Gorillaz, Peedi-Peedi and many more.
