[edit] Vandalism on Wikipedia
Why is it that famous people inspire others to vandalise Wikipedia? First off, in 2003, a Sarah Lane did up the monkeypox article by writing that "Sarah Lane is cool and does not have monkeypox." OK, so she doesn't have monkeypox, but she shouln't share that with other Wikipedians. More recently, Weird Al vandalized the Atlantic Records page in the video for White & Nerdy by writing "YOU SUCK!" in big blue letters. If they stepped in over You're Pitiful, then he should have put it on his album as a hidden track, not write "YOU SUCK!" on their Wikipedia page. And we shouldn't forget about the rough treatment that the article on stingrays got after one killed Steve Irwin. Only one stingray, and probably Irwin himself, was at fault. And one more example - Zidane and his headbutt on Materazzi. Why do people take sides on this one? It doesn't matter who's wrong or right, just beat it. No-one wants to be defeated.
