Talk:Scouting in Sweden
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have created this article as part of Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scouting/Translations mediation. The information on each organisation is identical to what is on the link. I am not trying to prejudge any outcome, so I have made minimal changes. My suggestion would be to progress this further by making the six articles on the five individual Scout organisations and the Council redirects to this article and add something about why there are 5 Scout organisations and not one. The current articles are small stubs and could always be forked off again if any of the sections in this article get large. If this is not accepted, we simply par this article back a bit to a disambiguation page and expand the six articles. If my suggestion is accepted, we need to alter the Sweden link in the European template. I hope that my suggestion would take the heat out of the debate whether these 6 articles should have titles in Swedish or in English, and I am sure there will be a debate. Please leave the article alone until that debate is concluded. --Bduke 22:35, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Comment about Template above is incorrect. The Template is a WOSM template and that is inappropriate. Jergen has, quite rightly, removed the template and some categories from the article. --Bduke 11:43, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
