Propose to merge the Bristol Gang Show article as a section of the Scouting in Avon article. Horus Kol 09:12, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

- Support as I did before when the County was incorrect. I should have spotted that. --Bduke 21:44, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Whilst Bristol Gang Show is run by Avon County Scout Council, the Bristol Gang Show is an event in its own right, and should retain its own presence on Wikipedia. ~ Philip Bird, Avon Scouts 23 February 2007
- If that logic were used for all events, groups and other bits of information, we would see a large number of short articles that are better off being included as sections in other articles... Believe it or not, I am trying to save the information in this article, because as it stands, it will not survive an AfD... Horus Kol 11:13, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- support merge per nom. Chris 03:55, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose I also think that it is an event in its own right, however i understand that there would be many small articles if this attitude were adpoted. So it think merging it with another "Gang Show" article would be better.
- Oppose I think the subject is important enough to have an article of its own, beacuse merging it with either the Avon Scouts or Gang Show articles will mean the infomration must be shortened, or if kept at the same length the other articles would be much too long.

- Comment There is not much in the original article that isn't already in the Scouting in Avon article... if at some point, a significant chunk of notable and encyclopaedic information is added to what is already there, then I will support the creation of a new article - but as it is now, there is no purpose served by having a seperate article...
