[edit] "Human Cannonball"
Umm... Where is the proof that Human Cannonball is linked to Scorched Earth. To me, it has no place here. Human Cannonball was released in the late 70's -way before Scorched Earth. Besides, the gameplay (although fitting under artillery games) is completely different to Scorched Earth.
I'm removing it until someone can provide proof on this.
PS: I remember you from somewhere CheapAlert. Perhaps from one of the scorched clone forums somewhere.

[edit] Warheads
I saw a scorched earth-like clone awhile back that involved tanks sitting on planets and each planet had gravity to affect the weapons. It was fully networked and everything but I can NOT remember what it was called! Does anyone remember this? This wasn't long ago, 2002 or 2003 when I saw it. It wasn't open source but it was free.
- That would be called Warheads by Ionos and Totalplay made back in 1997. The game was shareware CheapAlert 02:53, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Gorilla game
I remember years agoy, friend had a game like this, where there's 2 gorillas on top of a city throwing bananas at each other. Does anyone know what this is? --Richy 19:18, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, that was Gorilla (computer game). -- Kaszeta 20:57, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Searching
Where would one look for Scorched Earth nowadays? I can't find it online, though I am not the savviest computer user. Carbunkel 02:54, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tank Wars
This game was originally called Tank Wars, which was made in 1990. Which did not offer online play, or allowed the ai to talk or any of the neat features, and money was fixed gain. It has slight game save ability and could be played against 10 people or AI at most. In fact I still own the game and the copyright is right on the quick load page. so either this game was made in 1990 or before then stated, based off this game, or is a _very_ big coincidence.
- Scorched Earth has absolutely nothing to do with Tank Wars CheapAlert 02:53, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
This statement about Tank Wars is completely incorrect. Scorch has no relation to that game. And for a curious historical note, Wendell and I used to play a game called Artillery which was a text shooting game way back in the late 70's. Arthurrh 19:06, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Architype
What game is architype? Also qbasic Gorilla (computer game) and freeware-game Tylli are made in 1990. Do these games have some common ancestors? --128.214.205.6 07:22, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
