Northumberland is a Scout County of the Scout Association in the United Kingdom, covering the political counties of Northumberland amd Tyne and Wear.

Northumberland Scout County organise events for all Groups in the County to attend. Most recently Caud Marra, a annual winter camp at Hawkhirst Adventure Camp in Kielder Forest for the Scout section, and fun days for Beavers
[edit] The County Standard
County introduced an award for Groups, to give them goals and create a more efficient and better group. The award "The County Standard" is archieved by achieving a number of goals/targets published every year by County. 2nd Seaton Delaval Scout Group was the first to achieve this award.
